Squash Tomato Soup
Cook onions, carrots and squash in a pan till soft. Weigh out 4 ounces and put it in a small crock pot with 4 ounces of cooked tomatoes and 4 ounces of cooked barley. Add a cup of water. Cook on low all day. Season with salt, pepper, garlic, curry or chili powder to taste.
You can also add your 4 ounces of meat and one more cup of water.
